The perfect example of 'don't judge a book by the looks of the cover'. We pulled in their parking lot and looked at the small cracker-box looking restaurant and debated if we want to go in. My girlfriend asked me to go in and check it out. On step inside I knew it was well worth the try. Bright, unbelievably clean, and the posted menu looked great. They have only six tables and they filled up quickly just after we sat down. Service and food was outstanding. Don't worry about the ambiance when the food is this good. Chile rellenos are off the charts good!!!
My daughter goes to the University of Arizona, and this is now the only place we HAVE to dine when we're in town to visit her. This is real food, nothing pretentious. You can tell that the owners have pride in their offerings, and it shows. Our favorites are everything, especially the quesabirria. The seating is limited so consider yourself lucky if you get a spot, and consider yourself extra fortunate if you get to strike up a conversation with a local who is waiting to grab their take-out :)
Carmelos and enchiladas with toritos as appetizer Food was delicious. Service was fast and ladyl was very helpful. Place is small inside. But it was not crowded. We will be back.
Food and service was excellent! Ambiance is ok place is small but bigger patio out back. Excellent overall would recommend! Fair price as well
2nd stop at Toto's, gotta say this is good. Right on the corner of St.Marys and Grand. That Barrio Hollywood might be the best for these small taco joints. If I am counting right with in 3 blocks you have about 6 or 7 hits for sure. This time I came down for breakfast. Asada Caramelo and a Egg, Potato and Machaca burrito. I have to say their machaca is perfect. Easy parking and they are very nice.
I visited Toto's Tacos Restaurant on 1/21/23 and let me tell you. The #1 chorizo burrito is delicious. I ordered my food to go but the staff was friendly. The ambiance doesn't look much but, the food makes up for it. If you come to Arizona definitely come to Toto's Tacos restaurant for breakfast at 1118 W Saint Mary's Rd, Tucson.
So impressed , the food is amazing & authentic. Rich in flavors & undertone flavor. Exceeded my expectations. 10/10 would recommend . Service was great too ! Even tho we stopped in an hour before closing. Small , but we ate on the patio cozy atmosphere.
As always Toto's does not disappoint. My son was craving Toto's tacos so of course we went for taco Tuesday. The flavor in all their food is so good! We had carne asada, pollo, adobada and cabeza tacos. The tacos de cabeza were amazing and loaded with everything. Also had the toritos. We never got there without having toritos. I remembered to take pictures this time we went. GO TO TOTO'S!

I've been wanting to try this place since they opened. Finally decided to drop by for a couple tacos on my way to tumamoc. I am a harsh critic of tacos. Their tacos are reminiscent of Los Angeles street tacos or the tacos in Baja. I ordered carne asada on corn. The corn tortillas are real tortillas, not the manufactured kind. They must cook them on the same surface as the meat because the tortillas have absorbed flavor and you can tell from the color.. I ain't complaining cause that's how it should be done! Definitely delicious and will come again and recommyto friends.
